Monica Robins & The Whiskey Kings has been rocking Cleveland since 1998 and features the classic rock hits of the last four decades and much more. At home with Harleys to High Brow — book Monica Robins & The Whiskey Kings for your next event!
The band has opened for legendary acts such as Donnie Iris and the Cruisers, South Side Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Temptations, Eddie Money and Hall and Oates.
Band members feature Monica Robins on lead vocals, the heart pounding shredding of lead guitarist Ken Cali, the smooth bass of Dan Bowman, the rhythm of Deke Kumler on drums and the sultry lead and backup vocals of Luther Smith.
The Whiskey Kings, formerly known as BFD and The BFD Blues Band, evolved into a hard pounding classic rock band but still managed to keep its blues rock soul.
The band has played several venues throughout the region including, Tower City Amphitheater, Cleveland House of Blues, Nautica Stage, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Beachland Ballroom, Pittsburgh Chevrolet Amphitheater, WKYC-TV morning show, Ohio Derby/Thistledown, Lake Erie Harley-Davidson and Roeder Harley-Davidson.
However, the band can usually be found in one of several of Northeast Ohio’s smaller club venues that cater to great local music. Come to a show, we guarantee you won’t be disappointed! Click on gig listings to find out where we are next.
